Holy Innocents’ Episcopal School: Golden Bear Murals, a Mission Wall and a School Store

Holy Innocents’ Episcopal School in Atlanta wanted its Golden Bears identity on the walls in classrooms, hallways and the school store. High Stakes Creative produced and installed murals, a mission wall and a full school store package in 2021 and 2022.

What murals did we install?

• A Golden Bear sunrise mural, with red and gold rays and a bear silhouette wrapping around a doorway.
• A crest and mission wall on a bright yellow field, pairing the school crest with its mission statement.
• Framed mural panels in a classroom, set inside colored frames on the wall.

How do you brand a school store?

Give it a pattern and a hero logo. The walls behind the shelving carry a maroon wallcovering with a repeating crest pattern, and a slat wall carries a large Golden Bears logo with the bear mark. Together they make the store feel like part of the school’s brand rather than a stock room with merchandise.

When do schools install graphics?

Usually during the summer or a long break, when halls and classrooms are empty. Both Holy Innocents’ installs were in the summer, in June and in August.

What do we need to quote school graphics?

• Photos and measurements of each wall.
• Your crest, mascot art, colors and mission or values text.
• The dates the building is empty and available.
• Any campus rules for contractors on site.
