High Stakes Creative provides corporate branding, architectural signage, branded interiors and fleet graphics for Blairsville and Union County businesses from our Kennesaw studio, about 95 miles and an hour and 40 minutes away via I-575 and GA-515. Since 2007 one team has handled strategy, design, production and installation, so a shop on the square, a medical office or a service company's trucks work with one partner from design through permitting and installation.
Blairsville has been the seat of Union County since 1835. The city itself is small, with 616 residents at the 2020 census, but it serves a county that grew from 21,356 people in 2010 to an estimated 27,859 in 2025. U.S. 76 and GA-515, the Zell Miller Mountain Parkway, run together through town, and U.S. 19 and 129 run together through town toward Atlanta, about 99 miles south. Union General Hospital opened in 1959 as the Union County Clinic, has 45 licensed beds and is run by the Union County Hospital Authority. North Georgia Technical College opened its Blairsville campus on 25 acres along the parkway in 1998.
Tourism drives much of the rest. The Chattahoochee National Forest covers nearly two-thirds of the county, Vogel State Park sits about 11 miles south, Brasstown Bald, Georgia's highest peak, is nearby, and Lake Nottely, a TVA reservoir, lies just northwest of town. The Sorghum Festival is held each October, and the county runs its own short-term rental licensing office. United Community Banks was founded here in 1949. Signage work here is often a storefront on the square, a monument sign on the parkway, a lobby wall or a work truck.

Reception logo walls, suite signs, privacy film and wall graphics for medical offices near Union General Hospital, banks, real estate and property management offices. We schedule installs around business hours, use removable films where a lease calls for it, and match colors to your brand standards rather than a close guess.
Branded environments
Monument signs, building identification and storefront signs for businesses on the GA-515 parkway, US-19/129 and around the historic square. Outside city limits, Union County asks for a recorded plat and a site plan showing setbacks from property lines and any water, so we produce those drawings with the sign package.
Architectural signage
Many Union County organizations also run sites in Hiawassee, Blue Ridge, Ellijay and the rest of north Georgia. When the logo changes, we survey each location, build a single sign schedule, and replace signage in planned waves so every site carries the new brand within a defined window.
Rebrand rollouts
Builders, outfitters, rental and service companies keep trucks on mountain roads all day. We recently wrapped service trucks, pickups and box trucks for Nelson Tractor Company, whose vehicles operate from its Dalton, Blairsville and Jasper locations. Our 3M Certified and Avery Dennison Certified installers apply one standard per vehicle type.
Fleet wraps & graphics
Offices, medical campuses, retail, industrial sites, venues and civic buildings: the kinds of places that need lobby branding, signage, wall graphics and fleet graphics.
A Blairsville mailing address does not always mean the city. Inside city limits, signs go through the City of Blairsville. Outside them, Union County Building & Development at 46 Hughes Street, Suite A, issues building and land disturbance permits. The county's permit list does not name signs separately, but it requires a permit for work that needs an electrical connection or disturbs land, which can include lit signs and new monument footings. A county application includes owner and job information, a licensed contractor affidavit, a recorded plat with a site plan showing setbacks from property lines and bodies of water, the most recent recorded deed and a drawing of the work, with a DOT permit or engineered plans where they apply. We confirm the jurisdiction and prepare the package.
One schedule and one point of contact from the first walkthrough to the final punch list.
Inside city limits, the City of Blairsville reviews signs. In unincorporated Union County, Union County Building & Development at 46 Hughes Street, Suite A, handles building and land disturbance permits. Blairsville is a small city and many businesses with a Blairsville address sit in the county, so we confirm the jurisdiction for your parcel before design begins.
Often, yes. Union County requires a permit for any project that needs an electrical connection or any land disturbance, which can include lit signs and new monument foundations. The county wants a recorded plat, a site plan showing setbacks, the latest recorded deed and a licensed contractor affidavit. Permits are valid for one year, and work must not start before the permit and inspections.
Yes. Storefronts around the historic square call for signs that suit the older buildings: dimensional letters, routed panels, projecting signs and window graphics. We survey the facade, check the city's requirements, and design a sign that reads from the street without overpowering the building.
No. Blairsville is about an hour and 40 minutes from our Kennesaw studio via I-575 and GA-515. We group site surveys, proof reviews and installs into planned trips, and the people who measure your building are the people who install, which matters on a mountain project outside the metro core.
Yes. We design one fleet layout per vehicle type, from pickups and service bodies to box trucks and trailers, and install with 3M or Avery Dennison films. A truck typically installs in one to three days, so we stage vehicles in small groups to keep crews working.
Tell us about the space, the brand and the date. We'll scope it, schedule it and handle it start to finish from Kennesaw.
