High Stakes Creative provides corporate branding, branded environments, architectural signage and fleet graphics for Dalton and Whitfield County organizations from our Kennesaw studio, about 63 miles and an hour and ten minutes away via I-75 north. Since 2007 one team has handled strategy, design, production and installation, so a flooring plant, a showroom, a medical office or a downtown storefront works with one partner from design through permitting and installation.
Dalton is known as the Carpet Capital of the World. The city had 34,417 residents at the 2020 census and is the seat of Whitfield County, home to an estimated 106,212 people in 2025. More than 150 carpet plants operate in the area and the industry employs more than 30,000 people around Whitfield County. It began with a tufted bedspread Catherine Evans Whitener made as a wedding gift in 1895, and the bedspread trade later turned to carpet. Shaw Industries, a Berkshire Hathaway company since 2001 with about 22,000 employees worldwide, is headquartered in Dalton.
Manufacturing here now reaches past floors. Qcells opened a solar panel factory in Dalton in 2019 with 750 jobs and added 510 more in a 2023 expansion. Hamilton Medical Center on Memorial Drive is the city's hospital, Dalton State College, founded in 1963 as Dalton Junior College, is part of the University System of Georgia, and the Dalton Convention Center hosts trade shows and events. Downtown, a $2.2 million state grant in 2023 paid for work on Cuyler and Pentz Streets. A Dalton project can be a plant entrance monument, a flooring showroom, a medical suite or a downtown storefront, and county rules shape each one.

Reception logo walls, core-values graphics, frosted glass and showroom wall graphics for flooring companies, offices and medical practices around Hamilton Medical Center. In showrooms we design graphics that frame the product instead of competing with it, and we match colors to your brand standards rather than a close guess.
Branded environments
Entrance monuments, building identification and directional signs for plants, warehouses and office buildings across Dalton and Whitfield County. The county's sign application asks for elevation plans and a site plan showing the sign against property lines and the building, so we produce those drawings as part of the sign package.
Architectural signage
Flooring and manufacturing companies in Dalton often run plants, warehouses and showrooms in several north Georgia towns. When the brand changes, we survey each site, write one sign schedule covering every sign type, and replace signage in planned waves so every building carries the new identity within a set window.
Rebrand rollouts
Delivery trucks, service vans and pickups run between Dalton plants, job sites and customers all day. We recently wrapped service trucks, pickups and box trucks for Nelson Tractor Company, whose vehicles operate from its Dalton, Blairsville and Jasper locations. Our 3M Certified and Avery Dennison Certified installers apply one layout per vehicle type.
Fleet wraps & graphics
Offices, medical campuses, retail, industrial sites, venues and civic buildings: the kinds of places that need lobby branding, signage, wall graphics and fleet graphics.
Whitfield County's Building Inspection department at 136 Gillespie Drive enforces both City of Dalton and Whitfield County ordinances and takes the sign permit application. The form asks for the contractor and business, the number and type of signs, freestanding sign area, height and location, wall area and total wall-sign area for each face, and the project cost, with elevation plans and a site plan showing the sign against property lines and the building. A zoning enforcement officer reviews it against the property's zoning district. In unincorporated Whitfield County, every freestanding sign and any building sign of 40 square feet or more needs its own permit, lit signs must carry a UL label, and required site plans must be certified for structural and wind-load standards. We prepare the full package.
One schedule and one point of contact from the first walkthrough to the final punch list.
Whitfield County's Building Inspection department at 136 Gillespie Drive handles inspections for both the City of Dalton and unincorporated Whitfield County, and it takes the sign permit application. A zoning enforcement officer approves or denies it based on the zoning district. Tunnel Hill has its own building permit application, so we confirm the jurisdiction for your parcel before design begins.
The county's sign ordinance allows one principal freestanding sign per lot: up to 200 square feet and 30 feet tall in C-1 zoning, and up to 288 square feet and 40 feet tall in C-2, M-1 and M-2. Freestanding signs must sit at least 10 feet from side and rear lot lines and from the right-of-way. Inside Dalton, the city's own rules apply, and we check them for your zoning before sizing the sign.
Yes. For plants we handle exterior building identification, entrance monuments, lobby and showroom branding, and interior graphics such as safety and core-values walls. We plan installation around shift changes and coordinate with your safety team on check-in and site access before crews arrive.
No. Dalton is about an hour and ten minutes from our Kennesaw studio straight up I-75, close enough for site surveys, proof reviews on site and multi-day installs. The people who measure your building are the people who install, which matters on a project outside the metro core.
Yes. We build one sign schedule covering every location, with the same sign types, colors, letter styles and directional system, then fabricate and install site by site. A company with a showroom in Dalton and plants or offices elsewhere in Georgia gets the same look and the same installation team at each one.
Tell us about the space, the brand and the date. We'll scope it, schedule it and handle it start to finish from Kennesaw.
