Midtown is Atlanta’s office core between Downtown and Buckhead
Class A towers line Peachtree and West Peachtree Streets, including One Atlantic Center, 1180 Peachtree, Promenade and the redeveloped Colony Square, which added about 912,000 square feet of office space when it reopened in 2021. Technology Square, which Georgia Tech opened in 2003 between 3rd and 8th Streets, anchors the tech side of the district with Coda and the Scheller College of Business. Google anchors 1105 West Peachtree, Elevance Health is at 740 West Peachtree and Invesco keeps its headquarters at 1331 Spring Street.
Building has not slowed. Portman’s Ten Twenty Spring opened in December 2024 as part of Spring Quarter, and EY announced plans to move about 3,000 employees there from Downtown. Midtown is also the city’s arts district, home to the Woodruff Arts Center, the Fox Theatre, Piedmont Park and the Atlanta Botanical Garden, and Midtown Alliance runs the Midtown Improvement District that commercial owners formed in 2000. Tenants here turn over as leases roll, and each new tenant needs an entry identity, lobby branding and directory updates that fit the building’s standards.

What Midtown companies hire us for
Office & lobby branding
Reception logo walls, feature and mural walls, core-values graphics and frosted or gradient glass film for offices in Peachtree Street towers, at Tech Square and around Colony Square. We submit to property management, book freight elevators and docks, and work nights or weekends so occupied floors stay productive.
Branded environments
Architectural & monument signage
Dimensional lobby logos, elevator-lobby identity, suite signs, parking-deck wayfinding and ADA room signs for Midtown towers and mixed-use buildings. Exterior signs fall under the City of Atlanta sign ordinance, so we check sign size, type and placement before drawings go to the landlord or the city.
Architectural signage
Rebrand & multi-location rollouts
Midtown offices are often regional headquarters. After a rebrand or acquisition, we inventory every sign and graphic, build a sign schedule by location, finish the Midtown office as the reference, and roll the same standard out to branches across Georgia and the Southeast.
Rebrand rollouts
Fleet branding
Sales, service and delivery vehicles based in and around Midtown get a consistent fleet identity, from logo-and-contact layouts to full wraps. We set one approved design per vehicle type, use certified 3M and Avery Dennison installers, and schedule vehicles in small groups. Wraps typically last five to seven years.

Sign permits in Midtown
Sign permits in Midtown are issued by the City of Atlanta Office of Buildings, Zoning Division, under the city’s sign ordinance (Chapter 28A of the zoning code). Most of Midtown is zoned SPI-16, and its signage section points back to that citywide ordinance. An application needs scaled street-front elevations and sign renderings, a site plan for freestanding signs and a notarized affidavit from the property owner, and illuminated signs need a light-level test within 10 days of installation. We prepare the drawings and file as your authorized agent.
Our process and services
What clients say about working with us
Every High Stakes Creative review on Google is five stars. A few in the clients’ own words.
We had a fantastic experience working with Matt Matthews and his team on a custom company van wrap for Affinity Home Lending. From design to production to installation, everything was handled professionally and efficiently. They went above and beyond, and insured we were 100% happy with the final product.
These guys have wrapped and lettered our vehicles and they have created signage for our office space. We could not be happier with their creativity and workmanship. Everything they do is a work of art and a sound investment.
We hired Matt and High Stakes on a referral from a friend at another sign company (that’s saying a LOT!) to produce a new lighted building sign for our comic & toy shop expansion. They were great to work with, highly communicative, helped us figure out a version of the sign that would fit within our budget. We ALREADY have new customers into the store because they have SEEN our new sign!

Midtown questions we hear
Do you install office graphics after hours in Midtown towers?
Yes. Office towers on Peachtree and West Peachtree usually ask for a certificate of insurance and a freight elevator reservation, and many keep noisy or common-area work to evenings and weekends. We plan around the building’s rules, protect finishes and clean up before staff arrive, so wall graphics, glass film and reception signs go in without disrupting an occupied floor.
Who issues sign permits in Midtown Atlanta?
The City of Atlanta Office of Buildings, Zoning Division. Midtown’s SPI-16 zoning refers signs to the citywide sign ordinance, Chapter 28A. Applications need scaled elevations and renderings, a site plan for freestanding signs and a notarized owner affidavit, and illuminated signs need a light-level test within 10 days of installation. We prepare the drawings and file as your authorized agent.
We are moving into a new Midtown tower. What signage do we need?
Usually a suite entry sign that meets the landlord’s criteria, a reception or feature wall, conference-room glass film and some interior wayfinding. Exterior and building-top signs are controlled by the landlord and need a city permit. We review the building’s sign criteria, propose a package, and handle approvals and installation as one scope.
How far ahead of a Midtown move-in should we order signage?
Start about 90 days out. Lobby signs and dimensional letters need landlord approval and production time, and any exterior sign needs a City of Atlanta permit. Wall graphics and glass film are scheduled after paint and flooring, so the final install often lands in the last week before move-in, outside business hours.
Can you roll out a rebrand from our Midtown office to other locations?
Yes. We survey each site, produce one sign schedule listing every sign type and material by location, and pilot the rollout before moving to regional waves. Because strategy, design, production and installation stay under one roof, your Midtown office and locations across Georgia and the Southeast use the same files, colors and installation standards.
