The Westcott in Canton: A Halo-Lit Lobby Logo and Illuminated Monuments

The Westcott is an apartment community in Canton, Georgia. High Stakes Creative produced and installed its leasing lobby logo, entry monuments and site signs in February 2025, so residents and visitors see one brand from the street to the front desk.

What is a halo-lit sign?

A dimensional sign lit from behind. The lights sit inside the letters and shine back onto the wall, so the logo glows with a soft outline. The Westcott’s large “W” mark stands off a dark gray wall in the leasing office and reads clearly day and night.

How do you make a monument sign readable at night?

Light it. The Westcott’s brick monuments carry the name in white on a black panel, lit so the name stays readable after dark. Matching brick pillars at the entry carry the “W” mark.

What other signs does a community need?

Wayfinding and parking signs that match the brand. The Westcott’s resident parking signs are dark post signs with white lettering, in keeping with the monuments.

What do we need to quote community signage?

• A site plan with entrance locations, plus photos of each spot.
• Your logo files and brand colors.
• Power availability for illuminated signs.
• Any city or county sign permit requirements we should plan for.
